People Who Had Affairs Before Marriage Are 'HAPPIER', Study Says.

A recent study shows infidelity can enhance a marriage, despite the fact that people hold firm beliefs about cheating.


Research has revealed that engaging in an affair can actually have positive effects on one's marriage.


According to the research conducted on the impact of infidelity on marital relationships, it was discovered that 72% of individuals who admitted to being involved in extramarital affairs claimed that their relationship with their spouse had experienced a notable improvement since the commencement of the affair.


A further 52% said their sex life with their spouse ‘improved’ since they began cheating on their partner.


Instead of having sex with their partner once or twice a month, they were bonking three times a month – three times the usual amount.


They were also having sex with their secret partner six times a month – 12 times a month – triple the normal amount for Brits.

Nine out of ten respondents who were having a fling acknowledged continuing to have sex with their partner, according to a study conducted by the extramarital dating website illicitencounters.com. 


When asked if their relationship had been "better" since they began an affair, 72% of respondents responded that it had "improved dramatically," 2% indicated that it had turned into a chilly affair, and 26% said that nothing had changed.


Inquiring about the frequency of their sexual encounters with their partner after initiating an affair, 52% of participants affirmed an increase, while only 23% reported a decrease, and 25% stated that it had remained unchanged.


"We polled 1,400 married members to see what effect having an affair has had on their relationship at home," an Illicit Encounters official stated. 


According to our research, 52% of married individuals stated they are actually having more sex than ever with their partners, and 72% of married individuals claim they are happier in their marriages now that they have an affair.
