Your chances of winning the lottery are tiny, roughly one in 45 million, so it is doubtful that any of us would win a large fortune in our lifetime.

However, trucker Bill Morgan won the lotto twice.

Bill's heart stopped for 14 minutes in June 1998, but he was miraculously revived by physicians. He wasn't out of the woods just yet, as he ended up in a coma for over two weeks.

After being engaged in a terrifying vehicle incident, Australian Bill was proclaimed 'clinically dead' by health specialists, yet he outperformed expectations.

Bill was out and about one day when he decided to purchase himself a scratch card and was happy to learn he'd won a brand new car - a Toyota Corolla worth $30,000.

When word spread of his dramatic reversal of fortunes, a Melbourne television station called Bill to tell his story.

While filming the feature, the 9News Australia TV crew requested him to duplicate his victory with a new scratch card, which he dutifully did - only to be struck by further good fortune.

In the video, which has gone viral numerous times, Bill turns to the cameras after scratching out the ticket and declares, "I just won $250,000 - I'm not kidding. I think I might experience another heart attack.

Fortunately, he didn't and was able to collect his new gift.

During a 2020 interview with Daily Mail Australia, the speaker shared, "It was an extraordinary period - a year prior to the victory, my heart ceased beating and my existence came to a halt for precisely 14 minutes and 38 seconds."

I continue to buy Tattslotto and a $5 scratchie every week, a habit that remains unchanged to this day. So I bought this Scratchie and stated aloud, "I believe I've won a car," and sure enough, I did.

"It wasn't a huge thing to me until the media and television stations learned about it.

They assumed it was a good luck story, so that's how it all began. I stepped into the newsagent's shop, and as I approached the counter to grab a $5 Scratchie, the cameramen were recording my every move. One of them even commented, "That would make a great shot, capturing you scratching it off.

Without hesitation, I scratched off the ticket and turned towards the camera, exclaiming, "I just won $250,000!" “However, Tattersall's boss answered skeptically, remarking, "Nice joke."

I was taken aback and replied, "No, I'm serious!" Suddenly, it seemed like a heavy weight had slammed me, and I feared I was going to have another heart attack right there.
