In an interview for Interview Magazine, the legendary pair—who made their film debuts together in the 1988 comedy Twins—talked candidly about their personal and professional lives as well as their beliefs.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, at the age of seventy-five, is widely acknowledged as a beloved figure among the masses and stands as one of the most revered actors in the annals of Hollywood.

People's perspectives on the afterlife will undoubtedly diverge in light of the Austrian Oak's beliefs.

Known for his parts in Matilda and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, DeVito questioned Schwarzenegger about the future during their enlightening conversation. The Terminator himself gave his honest opinion on what transpires after death.

It makes me think of the query I was asked by Howard Stern.

"Governor, tell me what happens to us when we die." "Nothing," I replied. It's six feet below you. Anyone who claims otherwise is a f***ing liar. In response, Schwarzenegger was frank.

We are uncertain about what occurs with the soul and all the spiritual matters that I am not knowledgeable about. However, I am aware that the physical form we currently perceive will never be seen in the same way again.

The action legend acknowledged that talking about death can be "uncomfortable", but he also expressed his skepticism about the idea of heaven, describing it as "a fantasy".

He stated that although it may sound wonderful when individuals express, "I'll meet you again in heaven," the reality is that once we depart, we will not have such an opportunity.

"I know people feel comforted by death, but not me."

Having lost many friends in the bodybuilding world, Schwarzenegger has formed his own unique view of heaven.

He expressed his belief that heaven is a realm where he reserves a special place for someone he deeply cares about. This person is not only kind and generous but has also left a lasting impression on his life and the lives of others.

In his mind, this cherished individual occupies a prominent position, akin to the front row of his closest friends. Whenever he reminisces about them, a sense of joy and contentment envelops him.

The Terminator star is somewhat taken aback by this admission, as he has previously discussed his Catholic upbringing.

During an interview in 2021, Schwarzenegger opened up about his Catholic upbringing. He mentioned that he was raised as a Catholic, attending church regularly, and even receiving education in Catholic schools.

"I read the Bible and looked through the catechism. From those early days, I picked up a phrase that still applies to me now: a servant's heart. Serving a cause greater than oneself is key."

Arnie urged elected officials to follow the religious values he had learned as a youth, saying, "We need a public servant's heart right now in our elected representatives.

We need them to serve something bigger than themselves or their party, and we need them to serve higher ideals - the ideals that this country was built on, the ideals other countries aspire to."
