At the time, Barbieri was just 27 years old and from Scotland. He began his fast with a weight of 456 pounds, and lost 276 pounds before ending at 180 pounds. His feat catapulted him to fame and a spot in the record books. In addition to the long fast, he also fasted for 37 to 48 days without needing to go to the bathroom. I'm not sure if there's a record for that, though. Barbieri did not plan to fast for an extended period of time, but decided to fast after ‘adjusting well’ and ‘wishing to reach his ‘ideal’ weight’.  Barbieri's fast wasn't just water and sugar. It also included vitamins and electrolytes, as w

Image by  Satya Tiwari  from  Pixabay A woman recently revealed that she's getting a divorce from her husband in order to have her children with her only half of the time. She's unsure if this decision is the best one to make. This woman wants to know if she's wrong to divorce her husband so that she can only parent her kids 50% of the time, so she took to social media asking people's opinions.  She posted on Reddit, asking, "Is it okay for me to end my marriage in order to have only half of my time with my children?" Some people think it’s her husband who’s to blame, not her kids, while others talked about how leaving their partner has affected their health and well-being.  One person said, “You’re saying you want to divorce because you’re unhappy in your marriage. That doesn’t mean you want to break up with your husband. He’s an idiot. I’d divorce him too.” Some individuals have expressed their desire to administer a firm reprimand to those who hold the beli

Parenting Tips YouTuber Mum Receives Maximum Prison Sentence for Child Abuse

Youtube: @Conspira tea In Utah, US, parenting influencer Ruby Franke, 38, was sentenced to the maximum term of imprisonment for child abuse on Tuesday. Franke, who rose to fame on YouTube with her channel ‘8 Passengers’, was in court with her business partner, mental health counselor, and mother-in-law Jodi Hildbrandt. Both were arrested in December following an August 2016 incident in which one of her children reported the abuse to neighbours in Ivins, Utah. The cops said that the kid, who's only 12 years old, bolted out of his house by climbing out of a window and went to a neighbor for assistance.  They mentioned that he was skinny, had cuts on his arms and legs, and was tied up with duct tape on his ankles and wrists. When the police searched the house, they found out that Franke had mistreated her other kids in similar manners. In her plea deal, Franke admitted to submerging her son's head underwater, smothering his nose and mouth with her hands, and kicking him with her b

Credit: INSTAGRAM @Bar7Ranch The choice of a Texas couple to charge their 19-year-old daughter rent for staying at home after high school has sparked an intense debate over responsible parenting and money management. The over one million-follower Gatesville, Texas couple, Erika and Cody Archie, announced on TikTok that they will be charging their daughter Kylee $200 a month for rent beginning June 1, 2022, only two weeks after she graduates from high school. The Archies' decision is in line with a rising discussion over the best ways to instill financial responsibility in young individuals.  About 50% of American people between the ages of 18 and 29 live with their parents as of July 2022, according to Pew Research Center . This is a huge rise from earlier decades. I've picked out a name for my baby, but my hubby's relatives are saying it's abusive.

Although her spouse detests it, she claimed the title has been in the family since the 1800s. When a pregnant woman told her husband that she wanted to give their son a unique name, he scolded her. He said the nickname is "abuse," but she pointed out that it is in keeping with family custom. When the couple found out they were having a boy, it would be their first child and the first grandchild on the mother's side of the family. It's reasonable to assume that when the pregnancy news first broke, everyone was thrilled. This has sadly been tarnished because, according to the mother, what should have been a joyful and joyous time instead led to a heated argument that is "tearing the family apart". All of this is a result of the woman asking her husband whether they may use a name that has been passed down on her side o

A millennial mom recently went viral asking “toxic” boomers to stop bullying kids they don’t know into conversation.

TikTok: @Kay.n.zee She recounted a time when a woman commented repeatedly on her daughter’s appearance at Target. “I don’t think you’re pretty,” she said, but the stranger persisted.  “I told my daughter that she knows she’s beautiful, but she doesn’t like talking to strangers.” The maker of a TikTok #toxicboomer video questioned, "Why would you want to plant that idea in her head?" in a follow-up video. "Millennial parents are putting a lot of effort into ending these harmful cycles, but they just discard it whenever they have the chance to pass it on to a helpless child." On another outing, she said, a “boomer man” praised her daughter’s “perfect olive complexion” and asked “where” she was “from.” Last month, in another video, she responded to a viewer’s question about what a “good boundary” should be for these types of interactions. “I don’t mind the interactions as long as the daughter doesn’t mind them,” she said. “But if a child isn’t responding after you’ve
