My 12 year old twin boys are wearing nappies every night and my 16 year old daughter is making life hell for them.

I don’t know how to handle this.

She says they often wet the bed and she has to clean it every morning. She says her 16 year old daughter makes fun of them for their nappies and says they are too old for wet beds.

Many users said they should sit down with their daughter and explain why she is still wearing nappies. Others said they have seen children wet the bed through their teen years.

My brother was 5 years old and he was always wetting the bed. One night, my sister was making fun of him and I heard her say that he was "too old" to wear pull ups.

I sat up and told her that I had worn pull ups up to 12 years old (which was true, I had bladder problems that eventually required surgery).

I told her that no one is too old to wear pull ups and that sometimes kids just need to wear them for a while. It worked.

I know your children are older, but it could work.

I have an almost 19 year old son and he is still wearing diapers to bed for medical reasons.

I hope he grows out of it soon and it's not a bigger medical issue.

Tell your daughter to be smart and stop picking on him.

Let's begin with the fact that your 12 year old boys need to go to the doctor without you having to figure out if they're being lazy or if they have a medical issue.

I think it's you or a member of your family who's doing something because you don't think there's anything wrong with the 12 year old boys still needing to wear nappies, so you also need to see a psychiatrist.
