After battling with infertility, Jordan Driskell, 31, welcomed their five young children, Zoey, Dakota, Hollyn, Asher, and Gavin, into their family. He uses his social media platforms to highlight different facets of his hectic life with his 34-year-old wife, Brianna.

In order to demonstrate how he runs errands with his little family, Driskell uploaded a video of himself putting a leash on his kids. As they tottered along the street, they were observed chained together.

The father-of-five captioned the picture, defending himself against others who disapproved of him using that particular piece of equipment, saying, "When people judge me for using child leashes..."

But after seeing the video, a lot of fans attacked Driskell in the comments area, accusing him of abusing his kids like dogs.

A horrified user commented, "Those aren't dogs—those are people!" This is disgusting! ", a similarly disgruntled individual merely uttered, "Animals?"

"I think the harnesses are a great idea, they sell them just for kids," wrote a third user, expressing their views with the man in addition to his thoughts about the song selection. "Maybe the problem is that the song mentions dogs and the kids don't exactly look happy."

In the meantime, a large number of people jumped to Driskell's defense and supported his choice to put his kids on a leash for their own protection.

"For some young kids, this is very admissible," someone commented. It only takes a moment or two. It's crucial to be safe."

Another commenter said: "He's protecting his kids and being a proper father. We all know that it only takes a moment for a child to be harmed, so please, take a moment to spare the father. We ought to congratulate him."

Another person said, "They're your children. You're shielding your kids, so who the hell cares what these folks think?

Not these fools from the internet, but you know your kids. My son ran while wearing a leash. My daughters didn't hold my hand. Different children are subject to different regulations.

You're acting appropriately for a true man, a fourth individual said.It is your duty to cherish, look after, and protect them. Can you see them all sprinting at once in separate directions?

It is obvious that anyone who finds this problematic has never had more than one energetic young child that likes to run around in public like they are stargazing."

While there are no laws in the US that forbid child leashes, a pediatrician has spoken out against the practice, telling Good Housekeeping, "I'm not happy to see children leashed like pets."

"As a father of three, I am well aware of how quick, impulsive, and unpredictable kids can be," he said in reference to safety issues.

However, I would be concerned about choking or becoming entangled from a harm perspective."

What is your opinion on this father's use of a leash on his five children?
