Guy lives on only Costco hotdogs for a week to find out if they're really worth the $1.50
A man has detailed what happened after consuming solely Costco hot dogs for a week.
Remember how excited you were as a kid when you had a friend coming over for tea or a party and your parents would buy a bunch of hot dogs and buns to feed a full class of hangry 10-year-olds?
Yeah, the novelty would definitely wear off on most of us if that was all we had to eat for seven days, but one content maker put it to the test. Prepare to look for your nearest hot dog vendor right away.
Sir Yacht took to social media to explain that he decided to eat 'nothing but' $1.50 Costco hot dogs every day, for every meal, for a week to determine if paying such a low price 'for a glizzy and drink was worth it'.
In total, the Instagrammer claims to have consumed 29 hot dog dinners, totaling $43.50.
Yacht claims that the entire amount he spent was "a quarter of what the average millennial spends on food per week" - $164.82.
But was it worth it to save $121.32 by only eating hot dogs for a week?
In the video, Yacht admits that he never got tired of eating hot dogs.
He continues to speak, even though my bowel movements bear a striking resemblance to Willy Wonka's chocolate river.
Surprisingly, he also mentions that his hot dog-only diet resulted in his losing weight.
Finally, he decides that eating hot dogs for a week was well worth it in order to save so much money, but he wouldn't suggest it as a lifestyle choice for anybody else, or for more than a week.
"Note: this is not diet advice," he writes in his Instagram description. This is only me creating material. I would not advise anyone to do this!"
He also stated in the comments area, "Please keep in mind that this is not diet advice." This is not something I recommend. I also walked 10-15 miles every day, drank a gallon of water per day, and took vitamins on a daily basis."
A particular Instagram user expressed, "The actions of this individual nearly led to a depletion of hotdogs at Costco, can you believe it?".
"Inflation has been hitting us hard, but thank goodness for Costco's hotdogs," someone else chimed in.
A different individual expressed, "It feels as though I am observing a moment of great significance, I am at a loss for words."
